The Timco Classic Multi-Purpose screw has been specifically designed as a multi-purpose product. It has all the features and superior performance of the Classic Multi-Purpose Screw manufactured from A2 Stainless Steel.

They are ideal where ultimate corrosion resistance is required when fixing softwoods, hardwood (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF and plastic. Stainless steel must be used where there is a corrosive environment and the

base material has inherent corrosive characteristics, e.g. Green Oak.

The 25° sharp point, unique thread design, lubrication and corrosion-resistant plating ensure that the screw consistently

performs efficiently in hardwood, softwood, chipboard, MDF, PVCu and thin sheet metal whilst offering exceptional holding power.

The Classic Multi-purpose screw is designed to give users a consistent, reliable product for various domestic and commercial applications.

The head is double countersunk to reduce the likelihood of head shear and assists completion of countersinking.

They have a 40° deep single thread to provide a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance.

These C10-22 steel screws are surface hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing under load and a core hardness of up to 450 HV for improved ductility.

They have a single slash on 25mm+ to reduce torque and the likelihood of the timber splitting when the screw is inserted close to the edge.

All sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded; lengths 80mm and above all have 70mm thread length.

Certification: CE approved to BS EN 14592:2008 – CE mark in compliance with the Construction Products Regulations (Eurocode 5 EN1995-1-1)
